World Cafe Live is an independent music venue in the University City District of Philadelphia, PA. Set in a renovated Art Deco factory building, WCL has been offering the best local, national and international artists on two stages to its loyal fans since 2004. From hosting one of Adele’s first US performances to showcasing artists such as Alabama Shakes, Graham Nash, and Edward Sharpe, WCL is known for bringing established artists to an intimate setting that is both artist and audience friendly. In addition to over 500 shows annually, World Cafe Live offers great food and beverages daily, and hosts and caters over two hundred special events a year. World Cafe Live shares a building with WXPN, the non-commercial radio station known for the nationally syndicated program World Cafe, creating a clubhouse for the Philadelphia music community.
