A new destination for stationery lovers, journal enthusiasts, and thoughtful gift-givers is coming to the Shop Penn Retail District. Paperboy, a specialty retail concept dedicated to helping customers "Catch the Moment," will open its doors at 3425 Walnut Street later this summer.

Created by the owner of Hello World which is located down the block, Paperboy will serve as a sister store with a distinct focus on stationery and paper goods. While Hello World will continue offering the greeting cards and stationery customers have come to love alongside its selection of home goods and personal accessories, Paperboy will significantly expand those stationery offerings through a dedicated retail experience.

The concept arrives at a time when consumers are embracing handwritten correspondence and meaningful gifting. Paperboy was created to meet that growing demand with a carefully curated assortment of products and an engaging in-store experience.

“Paperboy brings a fresh and experience-driven shopping destination to the Shop Penn Retail District encouraging creativity, connection, and the joy of paper goods,” said Rachel Siegert, Penn’s Associate Vice President of Real Estate. “Paperboy’s thoughtful approach to stationery, greeting cards, and gifts will add to the vibrancy of the University City neighborhood and provide a distinctive retail experience for the Penn community, neighbors, and visitors alike.”

The tagline "Catch the Moment" reflects the brand's belief that life's most meaningful connections often begin with simple acts, writing a note, recording a memory, expressing gratitude, or marking a milestone with the perfect card. Paperboy's offerings will feature a wide range of stationery, greeting cards, journals, notebooks, writing accessories, stickers, balloons, and more. While paper goods remain the heart of the brand, the overall shopping experience is designed to encourage customers to slow down, explore, and find meaningful ways to celebrate life's moments.

"Hello World is excited to share our latest concept, Paperboy, with Penn’s campus and the entire University City community," said Owner/Operator J. Lamancuso. "As interest in stationery and thoughtful gifting continues to grow, we saw an opportunity to create a destination dedicated entirely to those experiences. We look forward to welcoming customers and helping them 'Catch the Moment' through products that celebrate everyday life and special occasions alike."

We are pleased to announce Paperboy as the latest member to join the Shop Penn Retail District. To learn more about Paperboy and its offerings, visit @paperboy.philly on Instagram and watch for more details around the anticipated opening in early August by following @shopsatpenn on social media.
