Digital Arts and Culture Crawl

The current COVID-19 pandemic has hit the arts community hard with museums, music venues, and galleries being forced to close all around the globe.
While arts and culture venues remain closed in University City, they are finding ways to connect with people through social media and online programs, providing educational and entertaining experiences that can be enjoyed from your own home.

Penn Museum at Home offers a one-stop shopping experience for parents & caregivers who've had to quickly adapt to becoming at-home educators (and people who are interested in expanding their horizons). There, you can find At-Home Anthropology projects, a chance to write-your-own-name in Egyptian hieroglyphs, and our Great Lecture Series (coincidentally, about Great Catastrophes through time -- including the flu pandemic of 1918.) The museum has also moved their Daily Digs Digital with a 3-min. pop-up talk that helps you to "dig a little deeper" into one artifact every day on Facebook at 1:00 pm.

Keep a close eye on the website too, as World Café Live continues to work with other artists to provide more digital content in the coming weeks.
