The Institute for Contemporary Art is one of the top spots in Philadelphia to take in contemporary art and culture. The Institute has moved its weekly “Mindfulness at the Museum” sessions online to allow anyone the chance at mindful meditation in these unique times. Meditation has been shown to help develop healthier minds and reduce stress. Digital visitors to ICA can also go back and explore the archives of its “I is for Institute” series which examined the growth and evolution of the ICA.

The Annenberg Center is working with artists to create and share videos that fans can enjoy from the comfort of their homes with the Annenberg Center @Home blog. The blog features curated videos of dance, theater, and music performances as well as playlists and live performances for all ages, many from artists who have visited the Center in past seasons and some from those who have planned shows in the future.  Annenberg is also exploring ways to provide a platform for student performing arts groups to share their talents remotely.

Morris Arboretum knows that you are missing the outdoors these days and are working to bring the outdoors to you with “Morris From Home.” The staff at the Arboretum have created online instructional videos, weekly interactive activities and blog posts. The Arboretum has also begun a series of “Field Trips” into the home gardens of various members so everyone can still enjoy all the beautiful nature that spring in Pennsylvania has to offer.

Penn Museum at Home offers a one-stop shopping experience for parents & caregivers who've had to quickly adapt to becoming at-home educators (and people who are interested in expanding their horizons). There, you can find At-Home Anthropology projects, a chance to write-your-own-name in Egyptian hieroglyphs, and our Great Lecture Series (coincidentally, about Great Catastrophes through time -- including the flu pandemic of 1918.) The museum has also moved their Daily Digs Digital with a 3-min. pop-up talk that helps you to "dig a little deeper" into one artifact every day on Facebook at 1:00 pm.

World Café Live is bringing live music directly to you every Friday with their virtual “Free at One” performances on their Facebook page.  Check out their Education Artists Mix on Spotify to find songs for heart, mind, soul, and body from artists with whom they’ve been lucky to create.    Visit their blog for a collection of Bridging the Distance educational video performances – some with curriculums for the homeschoolers - that explore how music expresses cultures, crosses boundaries and brings us together.
